ZFC Tobacco Blend 6: 28: 23 + 8S + 0.18B
ZFC TOBACCO BLEND 6:28:23 is a blended fertilizer product formulated for use as a basal fertiliser in crops such as Tobacco, Potatoes, Brassicas and many others. The product is in stock and can be recommended as indicated below.
This product can be used in place of ZFC Tobaccofert (5:15:12) or ZFC Tobaccofert (5:15:12 + 1.5Mg as it contains higher nutrients as well as critical elements Sulphur and Boron. The product like other ZFC products has good nutrient uniformity and distribution. It is free flowing and therefore easy to apply. As with other ZFC High Analysis Fertilizers it addresses nutritional aspects of crop production at a lower cost as it is used at a lower rate in comparison to for instance ZFC Tobaccofert (5:15:12).
This unique compound is suitable for use on the following crops;
1. Tobacco
2. Potatoes
3. Tomatoes
4. Chillies and Peppers
5. All horticultural crops
To meet the Sulphur and Boron requirements particularly for tobacco production the fertilizer contains 8% of Sulphur and 0.15% Boron.
Standard rate for Tobacco is 550-650 kg/ha and for all other crops often 1000-1500 kg/ha. Top dressing of Ammonium Nitrate is still recommended for the crop.
