ZFC HIGH ANALYSIS FERTILIZERS
High analysis fertilizers can be formulated and produced by ZFC either as compounds or blends. These can be produced on request for specific markets. High analysis fertilizers are formulated for use in various crops. They are available upon request for specific formulation, but however some are available over the counter.

ZFC POTATO BLEND 10:  19:  25 + 9% S + 1% Zn and 0.15% Boron
This is a ZFC fertilizer product that has been formulated for use in Potatoes. This product is in stock and can be recommended for use as directed below.

Why ZFC Potato Blend 10:19:25 + 1Zn + 0.15B
This product can be used in place of ZFC Tobaccofert (5:15:12) as it contains higher nutrients as well as critical elements Sulphur, Zinc and Boron. The product addresses nutritional aspects of crop production at a lower cost as it is used at a lower rate in comparison to ZFC Tobaccofert (5:15:12). The target crops are mostly potatoes.

This Blend is suitable in all areas for production of Potato. Crops to be grown with this fertilizer include all Horticultural crops.

Zinc and Boron requirements
To meet the zinc and boron requirements particularly for horticulture crops the fertilizer contains 1% of Zinc and 0.15% Boron.
Rates
Standard rates vary from 1000 to 1600 kg/ha depending with the variety. Top dressing of Potato using Potato Super Top (23:0:24) is recommended at rates of 400-500kgs/ha 

 

ZFC SUPER D 14:  28:  14 + 5% S
This is a ZFC fertilizer product that has been formulated to address economic aspects of crop production for use in cereals. This product is in stock and can be recommended for use as directed below.
    
Why ZFC SUPER D 14:28:14: 5%S
*    This product can be used in place of ZFC Maizefert (7:14:7) as it contains higher nutrients as well as critical elements sulphur. The product addresses nutritional aspects of crop production at a   lower    cost as it is used at a lower rate in comparison to ZFC Maizefert (7:14:7). The target crops are mostly cereals. Zinc can also be incorporated.
*    One bag of 25kg ZFC SUPER D 14:28:14 is equivalent to 1 bag of 50kg of ZFC Maizefert (7:14:7) in terms of nutrient supply.
*    Cost effectiveness using Super D  14:28:14 is cheaper than Maizefert
*    Less in transportation cost, handling costs, they reduce storage space and they are cost effective.
*    Convenience especially for one bag customer, less bulk and easy to transport.
*    Suitable for small scale and peri-urban farmers.
*    Free flowing, no dust and performs very well in different types of the soil.

ZFC VEGETABLE BLEND 9:  24:  20  + 9% S + 1% Zn and 0.15% Boron
This is a ZFC fertilizer product that has been formulated for use in all horticultural crops including crops such as Potatoes, Tomatoes, Brassicas and many others. This product is in stock and can be recommended for use as directed below.

This product can be used in place of ZFC Tobaccofert (5:15:12) as it contains higher nutrients as well as critical elements Sulphur, Zinc and Boron. ZFC TOBACCOFERT 6:24:20 + 8% S + 0.15% Boron
This is a ZFC compound fertilizer that has been formulated for use in tobacco and horticultural crops. The product can be used as directed below.

Why ZFC Tobaccofert 6:24:20 + 8% + 0.15B
This product can be used in place of ZFC Tobaccofert (5:15:12) or ZFC Tobaccofert (5:15:12 + 1.5Mg as it contains higher nutrients as well as critical elements Sulphur and Boron. The product like other ZFC products has good nutrient uniformity and distribution. It is free flowing and therefore easy to apply. As with other ZFC High Analysis Fertilizers it addresses nutritional aspects of crop production at a lower cost as it is used at a lower rate in comparison to for instance ZFC Tobaccofert (5:15:12).

Sulphur and Boron requirements
To meet the Sulphur and Boron requirements particularly for tobacco production the fertilizer contains 8% of Sulphur and 0.15% Boron.

Rates
Standard rate for Tobacco is 550-650 kg/ha and for all other crops often 1000-1500 kg/ha. Top dressing of Ammonium Nitrate is still recommended for the crop.
